Hazlemere Street

The clients from this mid-century home in Sherwood asked us to redesign their outdoor spaces. Initially, the house had some interior updates; however, the pool area, alfresco, terrace, and gardens were looking a bit worn out. Consequently, they wanted to refresh these areas to better match the updated interior. After reviewing their needs, we decided to create a Hazlemere Street Landscaping plan that would transform the entire outdoor space. Ultimately, our goal was to ensure the outdoor areas were as inviting and functional as the interior.

Our clients loved a classic European design theme, so we created a Pinterest board to share ideas. Initially, we gathered inspiration. After a few meetings, we finalized the scope for the Hazlemere Street Landscaping project. To start, it included renovating the pool area and adding a large arbor and terrace gardens. In addition, we installed lighting to enhance the ambiance. Next, we planned to build 6ft recycled brick fences in a battery style along the southern and western borders. Moreover, we added a large fireplace and pizza oven. Finally, we incorporated an Italian courtyard, espalier, plants, irrigation, drainage, lawn, concrete, and tiling to complete the design.
