DorsetBottega_Project CampHill

We began this journey with our clients over 12 months prior to work commencing on site.

Our initial site meetings were held in the old house that our clients had lived in for a few years but were now planning to demolish to create their new dream home.

It was wonderful to be involved with a project from conception and we shared much inspiration, sketches, and designs prior to coming up with the final theme.

We worked closely with our client’s builder to ensure that we took every opportunity to progress works on site when possible.

The home is Hamptons inspired, bold in colour and full of passion through design and character. We used a mixture of French lay travertine, recycled bricks, and detailed joinery to create a space that makes this home unique.

We used a board and batten design in the pool area fencing to bring some of the details from inside the home to the outdoor garden and pool areas. We created arbours, gates, and timber fencing to compliment the architecture and details in the facade that the builder had provided. This ensured the property looked seamless inside and out and connected no matter where your view wandered.

We kept the plantings to a simple timeless palette of greens, soft blues, pinks and whites.
Sometimes less is more and there is much to be said about quality over quantity in planting layouts and palettes.

Overall, our clients are thrilled with the result and the journey we have shared has created a friendship that is to be cherished.
